About Me
I am an Environmental Science Scholar and Researcher dedicated to advancing spatial analytics, multi-hazard risk assessments, and climate adaptation in fragile mountain ecosystems. Holding an M.Sc. in Environmental Science from Tribhuvan University, my research leverages remote sensing, GIS frameworks, and quantitative modeling to address pressing environmental vulnerabilities in the Himalayas.
Currently serving as a Research Associate at the Centre of Research for Environment, Energy and Water (CREEW), I design and manage applied research initiatives focusing on watershed resilience and climate impact modeling. I actively contribute to peer-reviewed scientific literature, bridging technical field data with policy-relevant environmental insights.
My key areas of expertise include:
- Project Leadership: Leading projects such as the "Integrated Multi-Hazard Assessment for Climate-Resilient Watershed Management" and coordinating international collaborations with partners like APN, IGES Japan, and IWMI.
- Research & Analysis: Specializing in landslide susceptibility, water quality assessment, climate vulnerability, Big data AI and ML, and GHG emission inventories.
- Capacity Building: Developing curricula and serving as a lead instructor for training programs on climate change adaptation for businesses and technical workshops on GIS and landslide mapping for professionals and students.
- Scientific Communication: Authoring multiple research papers in international journals and handbooks for undergraduate students, demonstrating a commitment to advancing knowledge in the field.
