Landslide susceptibility is the spatial probability of the landslide's occurrence. It categorizes the area based on the current landslide and the factors that are supposed to influence its occurrence. Different statistical, mathematical, and knowledge-based approaches can be used to establish the relationship between landslide occurrence and influencing factors. This is why determining susceptibility based on established methods with acceptable accuracy is not research but can be considered an application of research that might be helpful for policymakers and development planners. The following manual contains step-by-step procedures from preparing a landslide inventory to final susceptibility map preparation using the frequency ratio model. The tutorial dataset used in this manual can be acquired at lalit@null.net.
